PlayStation®5 Digital Edition Console 825 GB - Marvel's Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle

PlayStation 5 Digital Edition: Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition bundle

This PlayStation 5 Digital Edition bundle is a limited-edition console set themed around Marvel’s Wolverine in Battle Yellow. It includes a limited-edition PS5 Digital Edition console with 825 GB of built-in storage, a limited-edition DualSense wireless controller and a full game voucher for Marvel’s Wolverine.

The console has a slim, compact design and a very fast SSD. As a Digital Edition console, it is designed for downloaded games rather than discs, so check that this suits how you buy games.

Ps5 Digital Edition: key features explained

Slim, compact design

The console is slim and compact. It comes with two plastic stand feet so you can place it horizontally.

825 GB ultra-high-speed SSD

The built-in 825 GB SSD is designed for fast loading. Large games take up a lot of space, so think about how many titles you want installed at once.

4K gaming, 120fps and HDR

The listing says the console is 4K TV ready, supports smooth gameplay up to 120fps with 120Hz output, and uses HDR for vivid colors. You need a compatible TV and cable to use these features.

Ray tracing and Tempest 3D AudioTech

Ray tracing simulates light and shadows in supported games, and Tempest 3D AudioTech is designed to make your surroundings sound more immersive, especially on headphones.

DualSense haptics and adaptive triggers

The DualSense wireless controller offers haptic feedback and adaptive triggers in select PS5 games, which simulate the feel of in-game actions.

Backwards compatibility and game boost

The listing says the console supports backwards compatibility and game boost, so some earlier PlayStation games can run on it. Check Sony’s page for which games are supported.

Who it is for

This bundle suits Marvel fans and PS5 players who want a themed console and the Wolverine game together, and anyone buying their first PS5 who is happy to download games.

If you want to play physical discs or buy used games, check that a Digital Edition console fits your needs, since it is made for digital games.

Buying considerations

Check your TV and cable. For 4K at 120Hz you need a TV with an HDMI 2.1 port and a suitable HDMI cable. The cable included may not cover every feature, so confirm what you need.

Check your internet connection, because digital games need to be downloaded and updated.

Read the bundle contents carefully. The voucher and the early unlocks are redeemed through PlayStation Network, so you need an account.

First start

Connect the console to your TV, power and internet, sign in to PlayStation Network and follow the on-screen setup. Redeem the game voucher from the store.

Manage storage

Delete games you no longer play to free space, and consider a compatible storage upgrade if you fill the 825 GB.

Is this PS5 bundle right for you?

Digital games only

Digital Edition consoles are meant for downloaded games, so they suit players who buy from the PlayStation Store. If you plan to buy used discs or lend games to friends, check whether a disc-drive model fits better.

Getting the most from the SSD

The fast SSD cuts loading times, and the 825 GB of storage holds a handful of large games. Keep a list of the games you want installed and delete the others to save space.

A limited-edition collectable

The bundle’s limited-edition console and DualSense controller carry the Wolverine theme, which may appeal to collectors. Keep the box and accessories if you want to preserve the set.

Online play and accounts

Many PS5 features need a PlayStation Network account, and online multiplayer usually needs a PlayStation Plus subscription. Check Sony’s page for current requirements.

Questions to ask before buying
